Cultural relics are the precious historical and cultural heritage of mankind, the concrete carrier of inheriting historical culture and civilization and maintaining national spirit.The protection and inheritance of cultural relics need the joint participation of the whole society. Many cultural relics can survive to this day, which is not only able to benefit from public storage, but also cannot be separated from private storage. Private collectors have made remarkable contributions to the preservation, research and inheritance of cultural relics.
Li guanchun, the owner of the house, Dan dafushan house, once worked in the cultural relics system, is now an independent artist and also a number of domestic heritage sites and the registration of the museum appraisal committee members and consultants.Over the years, he has been enthusiastic about heritage inheritance and cultural heritage protection, and won the title of "outstanding contribution of guangdong cultural heritage protection in 2016" by guangdong cultural heritage foundation.
Since his relationship with nanhai museum in 2013, Mr. Li guanchun has donated cultural relics to our museum for many times, which has greatly enriched the collection of our museum.Li guanchun gives priority to regional museums for each donation of cultural relics. He believes that "compared with national and provincial museums, regional museums are closer to the people and more connected to the public.
To pay tribute to Mr. Li guanchun and demonstrate his spirit of selfless dedication, we selected more than 100 pieces from the collection donated by him for this exhibition.Exhibition is divided into "inheritance", "activate" two parts, in addition to show the category of cultural relics such as pottery and porcelain, copper, treasure, will also be Mr Li Guanchun creation "activation" series of paintings on display, in hope that the audience appreciation of fine cultural relics at the same time, can feel the surcharge make full use of cultural relics, into a collection of fun, and the wisdom of the antiquities use opportunely and altruistic act for dedication.
